Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Jusang Company (주상컴퍼니) (“we”, “us”), a sole proprietorship registered in the Republic of Korea, for your use of K-Mystic at this website. By getting a reading you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. How we handle your data is covered separately in our Privacy Policy.

1. What the service is, and what it is not

K-Mystic computes your Korean Four Pillars (saju) chart from your birth details, shows you a short written insight, and lets you ask one free question of an AI persona we call Master Haneul.

Not a substitute for medical, legal, or financial advice. 18+ Nothing on this site is medical, legal, financial, psychological or other professional advice, and nothing here diagnoses, treats or predicts anything. We deliberately decline questions about death, illness, pregnancy, legal outcomes, specific investments and gambling. Please do not make a significant decision based on a reading alone; talk to a qualified professional. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency number or a helpline. Master Haneul is built to point you to one rather than answer.

2. AI-generated content

Master Haneul is a persona, not a person. The chart itself is calculated by our software; the sentences you read are written by a large language model and are not reviewed by a human before you see them. They can be inaccurate, inconsistent, generic, or occasionally odd, and two readings of the same chart may differ. We screen questions and may decline some topics or hold back part of an answer. On the free question, the final sentence of Master Haneul's answer is withheld and shown as a preview of the full readings we plan to offer; we say so on the page when it happens.

3. Who may use it

• You must be 18 or older. The form rejects birth dates that would make you younger than that.
• The birth details you enter must be your own, or you must have that person's permission to enter them. You are responsible for what you enter.
• You must be able to form a binding agreement under the law of your country.

4. No account; what is free

There is nothing to sign up for. Your reading is tied to a cookie in your browser and to the link we show you. If you clear the cookie, lose the link or use another device, we may not be able to recover your reading; emailing yourself the link is the way to keep it.

The free reading, the insight and the free question are provided as they are, without any promise about accuracy, availability or how long the free tier will exist.

4a. Payments, credits and refunds

What you can buy. Questions for Master Haneul: One Question for US$2.99 (one question) and the Ask Pass for US$9.99 (fifteen questions). Both are one-time payments; there is no subscription and nothing renews. Each question you ask uses one credit. Credits do not expire, are tied to the browser cookie and reading link you bought them with, and cannot be transferred or exchanged for money. The longer sections shown locked on your reading (10-year cycles, the year-ahead outlook, love and marriage) are not for sale and buying credits does not include them.

Who you pay. Checkout is run by Dodo Payments as merchant of record. Dodo Payments is the seller on your receipt, handles your card or wallet details, applies any sales tax or VAT for your country and issues the receipt; we never see your card number. Prices are in US dollars; your bank may convert and may charge its own fee. By paying you also agree to Dodo Payments' terms shown at checkout.

Delivery. Credits appear on your reading page as soon as the payment is confirmed, usually within seconds. If they have not appeared within a few minutes, email us with the time of payment and the email address you used; we will fix it or refund.

30-day refund. If a purchase was not worth it to you, email hello@k-mystic.app within 30 days of payment and we refund it in full, no questions asked, even if you used the credits. The refund goes back to the payment method you used, normally within 5–10 business days. Our full policy is at /refund.

If you are in the EU, UK or another place with a right to withdraw. Because the questions are digital content delivered immediately, you ask us to start right away when you pay and acknowledge that the statutory 14-day withdrawal right ends once the first credit is used. Our 30-day refund above is broader than that right and applies regardless.

Chargebacks and abuse. Please ask us for a refund before disputing a charge with your bank; a refund is faster. We may stop selling to a browser or email address that repeatedly buys and disputes.

5. Acceptable use

Please do not:

• use the service to harass, threaten or demean anyone, or try to make Master Haneul produce abusive, sexual, hateful or dangerous content;
• attempt to extract our prompts or to make the model act outside its purpose;
• access the service with scripts, bots or scrapers, generate charts in bulk, or try to get around rate limits;
• resell, republish or redistribute readings, or present them to others as professional advice;
• enter another person's birth details without their permission, or use the service to profile or target someone;
• interfere with the service, probe it for weaknesses, or try to access data that is not yours.

6. Intellectual property

Ours. The website, its design, the calculation engine, the prompts, the Master Haneul persona, and the written and visual content we create are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy, modify or reuse them beyond what these terms allow. City data is from GeoNames under CC BY 4.0.

Yours. The details you enter and the questions you ask remain yours. You give us a licence to use them only to provide the service: to compute your chart, generate text, store your reading at its link, send the link if you ask, and improve the service using anonymised, aggregated information. We do not publish your readings, and the licence ends for any data you delete, except for the aggregated information that no longer identifies you.

Your reading. You may keep, print and share your own reading for personal, non-commercial purposes. Your reading link is unlisted but not secret: anyone who has it can see the chart and your first name (never your birth time or birthplace), so share it with care.

7. Availability and changes

We may change, pause or discontinue any part of the service at any time, including the free tier, and we may update the calculation engine or the persona, which can change what a reading says. We will try to give notice of changes that matter, but we cannot promise the service will always be available or error-free.

8. Ending things

You can stop using the service at any time and delete your data with the button on your reading page. We may limit, suspend or block access that breaks these terms or harms the service or other people, with or without notice. Sections 6, 9, 10 and 11 survive any ending of this agreement.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that any reading is correct or that it will be useful to you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or from reliance on a reading. Our total liability to you for all claims arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

What we do not exclude. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence. If any part of this section is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes will be heard by the courts of the Republic of Korea, except that if you are a consumer, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country where its law gives you that right. If you are in the EU, the UK, Brazil or another place whose law requires it, nothing here deprives you of the protection of those mandatory rules.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms; if you do not, stop using the service and delete your data.

13. General

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about the service. If a court finds any part unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer this agreement; we may transfer it to a successor of the business, who will be bound by it.
